DANIEL BILLET
Charlie

Daniel is a graduate of UC Berkeley and NIDA (Australia’s National Institute of Dramatic Arts). He starred in the Australian television drama CRASH PALACE. Other television credits include TWENTYFOURSEVEN and NUM3ERS. Dan has performed all over the world, from the Sydney Opera House to the Stella Adler Theater in Los Angeles. Theater credits include Andrei in THREE SISTERS, Iago in OTHELLO, Edmund in KING LEAR, as well as many others. He has been part of LOST ANGELES from the workshop phase and is excited to be part of the world premiere. Finally, he thanks everyone involved for their energy, dedication, and, most of all, their extraordinary talent.


ALEJANDRO CARDENAS
Hernan

Originally from Mexico City, a trained actor mentored by European director Danielle Suissa. Alejandro has been active on film, TV and stage, touring throughout the USA playing eleven different roles with the ensemble of CANTINFLAS!, a story about the famous Mexican comedian led by Culture Clash’s Herbert Siguenza. In 2005 Alejandro had his successful directorial debut with Miguel Pinero’s “Eulogy for a Small Time Thief”. TV credits include BROTHERS & SISTERS, THE GILMORE GIRLS, THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS and DAYS OF OUR LIVES to name a few. Thanks to my loved ones for their unconditional support, my talented colleagues and of course YOU for being here right now! I hope you find yourself in LA!


SANDRA CEVALLOS
Suela

Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Sandy received her BFA from California Institute of the Arts. In addition to working as a professional dancer, her credits include numerous commercials and guest appearances on such television shows as ER, NYPD BLUE, RESURRECTION BOULEVARD, 10-8, and CORY IN THE HOUSE.  Sandy considers her greatest accomplishment being Mommy to Quinn, Frankie, and Ava Rose.  She is excited to be a part of such a great cast and loves the challenge and energy of live theatre.


SEAMUS DEVER
Tom

Seamus is very pleased to be in Caroline Treadwell’s new play.  His last appearance on a LA stage was in iWITNESS at the Mark Taper Forum.  Previous LA Theatre includes PERA PALAS at the Theatre @ Boston Court and A CLOCKWORK ORANGE at the Greenway Court Theatre.  Seamus was in the film HOLLYWOODLAND and the upcoming feature READY OR NOT.  Recent TV work: CSI: MIAMI, CLOSE TO HOME, NCIS, CSI: NEW YORK, THRESHOLD, and CSI.  Seamus holds MFAs from Carnegie-Mellon University and The Moscow Art Theatre.   He is a  member of The Antaeus Company and The Actor’s Studio.  Thanks to Carrie for being so groovy.


ADAM DONSHIK
Reese

Originally from CT, Adam went to Carnegie Mellon University and graduated with a BFA in Acting.  He hightailed it to Los Angeles where he has primarily made a career of getting killed on TV and is currently studying with Milton Katselas at the Beverly Hills Playhouse.  Credits include: THE TENTH MAN (Skylight Theatre), MOTHER COURAGE (Boston Court), CORPUS CHRISTI (Lillian Theatre), YOU TELL ME…(one-man show directed by Katselas).  Film & TV: FIRST DAUGHTER, THE DISAPPEARED, CSI, 24, THE SHIELD and JERICHO (recurring).  Repped by Karen Semler (Semler Entertainment 818-786-5000).


KEVIN HOFFER
Julian

Santa Monica native, graduated USC with a degree in Fine Arts.  Has starred in the West Coast premiere of CAMP HOLOCAUST and HETEROSEXUALS at The Blank Theatre in Hollywood and is a regular at Naked Angels’ TUESDAYS@9 in LA. Appeared on CSI:NY, JAKE OFF (Pilot) and in many independent films. Kevin is very excited to
have been a part of the development of LOST ANGELES from the very beginning.  He would like to thank Caroline for introducing him to Julian, his parents for never questioning his desire to act, and his wife Gisele for taking this journey with him.


PORTER KELLY
Marin

Porter Kelly was born in L.A. and grew up in Upper Michigan. After graduating from Northern Michigan University, toured nationally with Missoula Children's Theatre, did summer stock in Washington, then moved to Chicago where she graduated from the Second City Conservatory. Porter has performed in everything from Sondheim (COMPANY, INTO THE WOODS) to Shakespeare (MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING , THE COMEDIE OF ERRORS).  Improv comedy groups including Tigerpants at I.O. West, DVDevious and TBD Improv.  She teaches and performs at ACME Comedy Theatre. RUTH LIVIER
Anna

Ms. Livier was Meridee in A PERFECT WEDDING, the premiere show at the Kirk Douglas Theatre.  She was Constance in LOVERS AND EXECUTIONERS at South Coast Repertory and the original Gracie in SCR's LA POSADA MAGICA.  Other theater credits include: THE INDIAN QUEEN at the Long Beach Opera, SEXO, PUDOR Y LAGRIMAS (English & Spanish versions) at the MET, A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM and HEDDA GABLER with East LA Classic Theatre, LATINOLOGUES (Eugenio Derbez) and numerous works with Mark Taper Forum's NWF. Ms. Livier recently completed production on several independent film projects including: Joseph Merhi's ORANGES (Richard T. Jones, Heather Locklear and Tom Sizemore), Orestes Matacena's IN PLAIN VIEW, RANCHERO (opposite Danny Trejo) and Joe Camareno's comedy HAUNTING PASSIONS.  Among her TV credits: Ruth was a series regular on RESURRECTION BOULEVARD, MISSION ROAD, HAUNTED, NYPD BLUE, ACCORDING TO JIM, BECKER, KING OF THE HILL among others. Ruth is thrilled to be working with this group because 'chorizo is her favorite!'


ASHLEIGH SUMNER
Beth

A North Carolina native and a theater graduate of Western Carolina University, Ashleigh is ecstatic to return to the stage and her theater roots as an original cast member of LOST ANGELES. Television credits include guest star appearances on CROSSING JORDAN, CSI, and a supporting role in the CBS television movie THE LOCKET starring Vanessa Redgrave along with recurring appearances on the DAWSON'S CREEK. Film work includes a lead role in the AFI short film MOTHER, which received awards at the 2006 Cannes Film Festival, Seattle International, and Florida Film Festival, along with being an official selection at AFI Fest and receiving a New York Times Critic’s Pick. Ashleigh’s performance earned a Best Actress Nomination at LA’s 2007 Method Fest. Professional theatre credits include SUNSET BOULEVARD at the Hollywood Bowl and CASABLANCA at the Pantages Theater both directed by Tony Award Winner, Peter Hunt.  Lead roles include performances in the V-day West LA production of THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES at the Actor’s Gang Theater, DANNY AND THE DEEP BLUE SEA and MEASURE FOR MEASURE. Upcoming projects include the lead role in the independent feature film AND THEN CAME LOLA.


JOE CAMARENO
Director/Producer

Joe is ecstatic to be at the helm of this wonderful new play by Caroline Treadwell.  

Stage producing credits include PlayGrounds, Ink! include:  TWO GENTLEMEN OF VERONA, THE FIREBUGS, THE UNSINKABLE BISMARCK, A WEEKEND NEAR MADISON, KISS OF THE SPIDER WOMAN, DELIA’S SONG, EXMAGARE & six installments of the late-night cult-hit TONY MORLANDO & THE NEW DAWN, LA's only musical sketch show.  

Other producing credits include CUP O’ JOE (Pilot), TRANSA-ACTION (film), MEMOIRS (film) & most recently PASIONES OBSESIONANTES / HAUNTING PASSIONS a Mexican style telenovela in English featuring 12, 5 minute episodes starring LOST ANGELES stars Ruth Livier, Daniel Billet & Kevin Hoffer.  The darkly comic web series premieres late this fall on YouTube.  Joe also directed the series.

Other projects directed by Camareno are the veritable hit ONE MORE QUESTION by playwright Lisa Sundstedt starring the delightful E.G. Daily.  He also directed the film version of his play DELIA’S SONG called MEMOIRS.  He has also ventured into the new world of podcasting with the award winning “radio” series VIRGIN FALLS.  VF won the 2006 Parsec Award for Best Audio Production.  The Parsec is sponsored by Dragon*Con in Atlanta, Georgia.  He directed the voice actors for the first season of 10 episodes and is currently directing the 2nd season of 12 episodes to premiere this fall.

A versatile talent, Joe has also guest starred on, THE SHIELD (recurring), ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT, ER & UNFABULOUS (recurring), to name a few.  He has also recently been seen on screens at Sundance & Cannes in the dark comedy EXPIRED opposite Samantha Morton.


CAROLINE TREADWELL
Playwright/Producer

Caroline is a founding member of American Studio Theater (AST), where she produced and or performed in twelve productions, including A DREAM PLAY, RICHARD 111, THE TROJAN WOMEN and MEASURE FOR MEASURE.  Caroline also directed A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM for AST.  She is also the director of the award winning short subject film SPOT.  Caroline is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University and The Moscow Art Theatre School.  Some of her favorite roles include Catherine in PROOF and the title roles in HAMLET and ISMENE.  Born into a family of writers, LOST ANGELES marks her debut as a playwright.  For more information, please go to her website at: carolinetreadwell.com.


LAURA EMANUEL
Producer

Laura Emanuel, a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University and The Moscow Art Theater, is a founding member of AST and has produced several of the company’s shows, workshops and new play readings in New York City for the last 8 years.  In addition, she has been an integral part in taking AST on the road to perform Shakespeare in the Adirondacks for the last six summers.  Highlights of roles with AST include Caliban in THE TEMPEST, Lady Anne in RICHARD III and Mistress Quickly in THE MERRY WIVES OF WINDSOR.


JOHN J. GRANT
Light Designer

Mr. Grant was educated at Johnston College of The University of Redlands where he received his Technical Theatre Degree in 1982.  He returns on occasion to do shows such as SWEENY TOOD and THE MERRY WIVES OF WINDSOR (he won awards for both).  For the Eclectic Theatre- DON'T DRESS FOR DINNER (twice); VICTOR, KISS OF THE SPIDER WOMAN; and EXMAGARE (LA Ovation Award nomination).  John is the resident designer at the Actor's Forum (25th year).  He won a Drama-Logue Award in 1993 for COME BACK LITTLE SHEBA, and a NAACP Theatre nomination for A HATFUL OF RAIN in 2001.  Mr. Grant is Resident Lighting Designer at The Secret Rose Theatre.  He is currently in Production of GLENGARY GLENROSS at the Lillian, and VICTOR in Moorpark.  Mr. Grant "daylights"  as a Film & Television Location Manager and Scout where his work on THE CONTENDER airs on ESPN currently.


SHELDON METZ
Set Designer

Sheldon Metz has been an award-winning theatrical director and set designer throughout the Southern California theatrical community for over 28 years, designing over 90 sets and winning 20 design awards.

MORGAN MCCAULEY
Sound Designer

Morgan McCauley is a sound designer, mixer and engineer with over ten years of professional experience. Recent design credits include JUNK: A ROCK OPERA, HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH, and SILVER CIRCUS. She just recently graduated with her Master's Degree in Sound Design and Engineering at CalArts, and is very glad to be living and working in the Los Angeles area.


ELOISE PETRO
Costume Designer

Eloise Petro (costume designer) is originally from Allentown, PA.   She graduated from the University of Maryland- College Park with degrees in Theatre and English Literature.  She is currently working on her MFA from the University of California- Los Angeles.  Past work includes: STANDING ON MY KNEES (costume designer) UMCP, THE INSPECTOR GENERAL (asst. costume designer) UCLA, TWELFTH NIGHT (stitcher) Colorado Shakespeare Festival.
